Duties and responsibilities
IML Technicians are a special operator. We have molding machines that are able to take the product label and attach it to the container or pails during the moulding process. As an IML Tech you will be required to:
- Load the machine with labels and monitor the machine to keep it running and moving efficiently.
- Be able to create or modify IML program & settings as per required running product.
- Conduct final quality check and ensure that we are shipping high quality products to our customers.
- Lead the process for label changes as required.
- Keeping a clean work environment, clearing jams, and assisting with maintaining the machines through preventative maintenance.
- Evaluate the machines for down time and efficiency and help address/correct any issues.
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum 3 years experience with IML systems.
- We are looking for dependable and safety conscious people. Making it to work when scheduled is essential to us meeting customers’ needs.
- Previous experience and proficiency as an inspector/packer is preferred.

Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance of tools.
- Modification of tools as required.
- Daily inspection of operating tools on the machine.
- To be proactive in making tooling modifications to improve cycle time and tool reliability.
- To support trials and tuning of new tools.
- To maintain highest level of workmanship at all times.
- To record all data pertaining to tooling and record onto tool room database.
- To ensure that housekeeping within the area is maintained in a satisfactory condition.
What you will bring to the team:
- Must have minimum 3 years injection moulding tool room experience.
- Have knowledge of milling, lathe, turning and EDM.
- Skills with use of hand tools.
- Experience in assembly and disassembly of multicavity tools
- Assist in maintenance of equipment, tooling and machinery
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be mechanically minded.
- Ability to work unsupervised and/or part of a team.
